Look what I did! I got my whole fist into my mouth, AND I kicked off these silly pajama bottoms!! 

Remember how I told you that toes are yummy? Well, my favorite one is the big one on this foot. 

You caught me! You can see that it takes both hands and both feet to help me play with my toys now. 

Toes are yummy!

Today, I made a discovery: toes are yummy! The first thing I did this morning when Mommy tried to change my diaper was put my toes in my mouth. They tasted great, even though they were covered with the feet of my pajamas. Later, they tasted even better when they were covered by my shoes. Who knew something so great for chewing was there all the time?

I needed to snuggle and cover up in my towel after my bath. It was fun, but I don't want to be naked anymore! 

Ahhh, bath time. Now I'm fresh and clean...a new boy. 

Daddy and I have so much fun playing together. 

This is my favorite time of day: Daddy's home! He's getting me ready for my bath, and I'm showing him my toes. 

I have a new book that Aunt Amanda sent me. It's about a red dog. I know that Mommy says books are good to read, but I am sitting here thinking they're even better to eat. Maybe I can get the book into my mouth. 

Look what I found! I have fuzzy animals on my toes, and they make sounds when I wiggle! I bet they taste good... 

Parker is another new friend of mine. He is so big! My mommy watched him when he was smaller than me. Who took care of me while she did that? 

I just love my aunt Michelle! 

This is my friend Mary Evelyn. Her Mommy is holding us. She doesn't have much to say, but I think she is beautiful. She has pretty hair like my aunt Amanda and uncle Todd. 

Here I am having a fun time with my big friend, Anabelle. She is so funny! She makes me giggle all the time. 

I'm rolling around a lot now, and Mommy's getting nervous. She knows I'll be into everything soon, hee, hee! At exercise class today, I rolled where I wanted to go, and when we got home, I did the same thing. The exercise ladies said that soon I'd be rolling across the room. That's my plan! Watch out, Mommy and Daddy!

I was too tired to play with my feet this time. I was so tired that part of me fell asleep outside of my crib. 

Here I am during naptime. I have been finding lots of interesting things to do besides sleep lately! This time, I talked to my feet and pulled on my socks during my nap. I had a great "nap," hee, hee! 

Happy 5-month birthday! That's what Daddy told me this morning when he got me out of bed. I'm laying here to show you my toy box. Daddy and Grandpa made it for me when I was just a couple of weeks old, and Mommy painted it for me. Maybe I can look at it to learn how to spell my name. 

This makes Mommy really nervous. I want to peek out the side of my Johnny Jump-Up just for a minute, and she thinks I'll get all tangled. She straightens me out, but I lean over again on purpose. This is where I want to look! 

Mommy took me to be weighed today since I'll be 5 months old tomorrow. I weigh 17 lbs., 2 oz., and I'm almost 28 inches tall. I'm growing as fast as I can! 

I'm getting the hang of this booster seat thing. It's fun to play with my toys while Mommy cooks dinner. She tells me what she's doing, and I tell her what I'm doing! 

Mommy and Daddy forgot to take my shoes off before my nap. It was all I could do to get one of them off...I was too tired to take off the other one. 

I found my feet yesterday! I only caught one of them, but I'm sure I'll catch the other one soon if I keep trying. Do you think I can get them into my mouth? 

Look at me sitting in my new booster seat like a big boy! I was a little scared at first, but Mommy and Daddy are helping me get used to being up here. 

Well, I decided that I am confident enough with rolling over that I'll do it in front of Mommy and Daddy. When they lay me down to play in my baby gym, I don't stay where they put me. Mommy says, "That's not where I put you, silly!" and she and Daddy look at how far I've moved. They haven't seen anything yet! I don't cry anymore when I get stuck in my crib-I just scoot and roll somewhere else.

This was a little embarrassing. I was trying out my new rolling skill during naptime like usual, but this time I got stuck and had to cry to be rescued. Mommy and Daddy thought it was funny, but I didn't think it was funny at all. 

Here I am napping peacefully on my tummy. Mommy says babies are supposed to sleep on their backs, but she can't make me if I turn over when she's not watching! 

I had so much fun with Daddy and Mommy out in the woods! 

Here I am hiking with my dad, my buddy Sam, and his daddy who is my uncle Brian. We were looking at the things God made. Daddy and Uncle Brian went inside a cave, but Sam and I didn't get to go. We stayed with our mommies. Maybe Daddy will take me when I get big!
