Jonathan's Journey

Mommy's been keeping me busy lately. She doesn't want me to get used to someone else doing all the work at feeding time. So, she introduced me to "finger foods." First, she gave me something green and slimy called "avocado." Yuck! It made me choke. Then she gave me some banana. I tried to pick up those little pieces, but I couldn't do it. (Mommy says I need to work on my fine motor skills, whatever that means.) It was tricky! Mommy put some in my mouth, and it was pretty yummy. Last, she gave me what you see in this picture: something called "Zwieback." I really wasn't too sure about it at first. You can tell by the way I'm cocking my eyebrow. (Daddy does that, too, and I want to be just like him.)
