Now that my mom and I have started our Etsy store, I'm going to be having "Etsy Thursdays" here. We've been having fun making a little of this and a little of that. When we find out what people enjoy, we'll get to work making more! So far, everything we've listed has been made by my creative mom. This is one of our most-viewed items...
ponytail holders with fabric-covered buttons. These are super-cute for a little girl or a grownup girl! Click on the picture to go right to the listing in our shop. Enjoy!
To light your jack-o'lantern on Halloween night, just place your candle(s) in the bottom of your pumpkin. Then light one long spaghetti noodle with a match. (Yes, noodles burn!) Poke the lit spaghetti noodle through a hole in the pumpkin's face to light the candles!
Even though petting the animals was my favorite, I spent the most time playing in the corn. And if you haven't guessed already, this trip was a pictures-of-Jonathan fest. Mommy had a hard time narrowing them down. Imagine the trouble she's going to have when it's time to scrapbook the pumpkin patch trip. Anyway, here are my corn pictures...
I told everyone that petting the animals was my favorite part of visiting the pumpkin patch. The mama cow mooed a lot. She was scolding her calf for being too close to me, but the calf didn't obey very well! I sure loved those animals!
We waited to go to the pumpkin patch until Grandma and Grandpa were here for their visit. We thought they'd enjoy doing that with us. Between Mommy and Grandma, we have about a zillion pictures of our time there. So, we're going to do more than one post about it. If you're not a Grandma, you might get bored by all the pictures...or maybe not. Anyway, here they are. We had a great time! Mommy doesn't think that pumpkin patches and corn mazes were a fall tradition when she was a little girl, but I'm sure glad they are now!
Yesterday, Mommy and I went to Jared's house so that we could see how Ms. Amy was doing and meet Jared's new baby sister. We didn't get a picture because Mommy was holding baby Jayci, but you can see pictures on Ella's blog here.
Here's the story of another adventure we had with Grandma and Grandpa.
Daddy took a day off so that we could drive to a lake and rent a pontoon boat to go fishing! Grandpa taught me how to cast. We had beautiful weather and lots of time to relax. We didn't catch any fish, but we had a great time. My favorite thing was driving next to Grandpa and eating his honey roasted peanuts.
