You already know that my uncle Todd knows just how to make a little guy happy. So, you won't be surprised to see that he let me drive his truck! My mom and dad are great and everything, but they don't generally let me drive. Uncles must say "yes" a lot more than moms and dads do!

Sick
Today I am sick, and it's no fun at all. I don't feel like doing anything. Mommy held me for most of the day, except when she was taking these pictures. And you know that I don't usually like to just sit and be held.
I sat and read my books for awhile...
and I took a morning nap. I haven't taken a morning nap in months!
I even watched two whole Boz videos. (And you should know that I never watch videos. It's much more fun to play!)
I just feel yucky.
Talking about being sick is no fun, so let's look at some more of my pictures from my trip next time.
Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins
Mommy and Daddy both have so many aunts, uncles, and cousins, that I'm not sure how they keep track. I'm glad they do, though! Here we are visiting Mommy's aunt Kathy, cousin Sarah (and us in the middle) and her uncle Garth. Sarah has two brothers, Neil and Jordan, who weren't home. Mommy remembers when all these cousins were my size. I got to stay up past my bedtime for this visit and run around in their backyard. Thanks for the visit, everybody!
Caleb's Great Idea
After my nap on Friday, I found out that something wonderful had happened. Caleb and his mommy wanted some ice cream, and Mommy and I were invited to have some, too! I'm so glad to have friends like Caleb, because I might never get ice cream otherwise (except at birthday parties!)
The mommies ordered ice cream at the drive-in and let us have teeny bites. They didn't think we noticed how teeny the bites were, but we did. Then we got water with straws. 
We liked drinking out of straws as much as we liked ice cream!
After that, we went to the park. We saved the life of a turtle who was walking in the street. Here's Caleb patting the turtle...

Intermission
I'm going to take a break from telling you about my trip and let you know what's going on right now. Fall is in the air! In the mornings this week, I have worn long sleeves and pants, but by the afternoon, I have needed shorts. Too much changing clothes, if you ask me! Here I am wearing some fall clothes.
A Visit with Our Friends
These are some pictures with our friends, Mr. Charlie, Ms. Paola, Sophia, and Antonia. The mommies and daddies in the families met while the daddies were in grad school and none of the kids had been born yet. We got to visit them on our big trip! Thanks for the visit, friends!
Here we are: Sophia and Antonia with their mommy and daddy, and me with my mommy and daddy.
The last time we visited, Antonia and I didn't see much because we were still in our mommies' tummies. Here, Antonia is about to be born, and the doctors made her mommy stay in bed all the time! Everyone visited her mommy in bed. Sophia is the cute one in the middle. Antonia is five months older than me.
Something amazing happened after our visit at our friends' house. We saw them in the airport in the middle of our trip! We were going home, and they were flying to a place called Chilly to visit Ms. Paola's family. Do you think it is as cold there as it sounds?

New Blog Buddy
You might notice that I have a new buddy on my list of friends! It's Natalie, and she's very cute, and the youngest member of our little club. I love welcoming new little buddies to my list of friends! Look over to the right and click on her name to visit her spot.
Grandpa
Grandpa got out of the hospital the day before we got off of the plane, so we were very happy about that. Here are some pictures with him.

What Daddy Did
Here's more on our big trip!
Daddy spent one day of the trip away from Mommy and me. He and a buddy climbed a big mountain. This is a picture of the people in front of Daddy climbing the mountain. It was so big that even Daddy got a little scared. Mommy does not plan to hike this one. Ever. Can you see why?
Great Grandpa
This is a picture of Mommy and me with Great Grandpa. He can't be at home with Great Grandma right now because he has to stay in bed. That sounds like no fun at all, but my great grandpa is a good sport, and we had fun visiting him anyway. Get well soon, Great Grandpa, so you can play with me!
Great Grandma's House
These are pictures of a visit to see Great Grandma. We had a great time playing with her toys, running in her grass, and petting her cat. She also gave me some great gifts. Here she is giving me a tractor that makes real tractor sounds! She and Great Grandpa have always had a farm, so they know about real tractors.
She also gave me this great jacket. Daddy says, "Go Big Red!"
And she gave me this fuzzy tiger costume! I love it, and I love to make it roarrrr...
but I don't feel like being a tiger right now!
My Buddy, Isaac
On my trip to see lots of relatives, I also got to see Isaac. The last time we got to see each other was last Christmas. Click here for a picture of us together. Isaac is three months and a day younger than me. He has two of the same hobbies I have: cars, and getting up and down.
Here I am insisting that Isaac's cars all belong to me. I'm afraid I'm in for some sharing lessons!

Back for My 21-Month Birthday!
Hi, I'm back! Did you know that I was gone? Mommy and Daddy and I flew on some airplanes to go see lots of my grandmas and grandpas and aunts and uncles. We had a great time! I'll be posting lots of pictures and stories for you in the next few days, but for today, I'll just let you know that I am 21 months old and I'm trying to say lots of words. I said my first three-syllable word today: tortilla. It sounds like this: tah-tee-yah. (You can probably guess where we picked up some lunch on the way home from church today!)
Here is a picture of me riding on one of the airplanes. On the way to see my relatives, I didn't get to use my car seat, and those plane rides were not too fun. But, on the way home, I got to sit in my car seat, and I did a great job being happy! I even stayed busy kicking the seat in front of me. (It was a game. Mommy would tell me to take my feet off the seat, and I'd obey, and then I'd put my feet up again to see if she'd tell me to take them off. It was great!)
I miss all my little buddies and can't wait to play with you again soon!

When I take a bath, it's very important that I line up all my toys on the edge of the tub. Here's how it's done.

Bouncy Ball
Here is a bouncy ball that I found out in the grass by Daddy's garden. It's a great bouncer, but Mommy told me it had to stay outside. Do you know why?
Moosey Things
One great thing about grandparents is that when they go somewhere, they send me things! This time, since they went to Alaska, they sent me some moosey things. Here I am with the moose that came in the package they sent. I also got some bear socks, a moose book, and lots of other great stuff, but my favorite part of the package was a postcard with a train on it. Mommy hung it up with my ladybugs. Thanks for the package, Grandpa and Grandma!
