We can open our windows this morning! Yep, for the first time in weeks, the air is healthy enough to let in the house and the temperature outside is cooler than it is inside. We're so happy. And to top it all off, there's a little breeze. What a nice start to the weekend!
Just Me
Look at these great boots that Great Grandma found for me at a yard sale. They are for the rain, but since we think it may never rain again, I'm wearing them right now...all the time. I even wore them to swimming lessons today.
And here is my carrot juice mustache.

Mommy: Look, Jonathan, what kind of sandwich did I make for you?
Jonathan: I don't know!
Mommy: Grilled cheese!
Jonathan: Grilled cheese! That's my best kind of sandwich in the whole wide world!
Our Big Trip: Part 4

And she'll try to send them out to you soon. This is the second-to-last post about our trip. We had a great time seeing all these people we love!
Here are Ms. Rochelle and Sage. We stayed at Sage's house while he was on a mission trip to Italy. He finally came back and had learned how to pull up in his crib, so Mommy lowered his mattress. We had never met Sage before!
Sage is good at sharing. And look at how much difference three years makes between two boys!

Since we had already gotten to see Ms. Jennifer and her kids, we spent some time with the other home fellowship group ladies and their kids.

Later in the day, our whole small group got together, including the daddies, but not including Mr. Shawn and Ms. Jennifer's kids. I missed them! We were at Mr. Gabe and Ms. Dorothy's house, which they finished remodeling. It looks great! And all our friends cooked some really great food, which we loved.
There is a lot going on in our group with all the little ones crawling around!

Our Big Trip: Part 3
Here are some pictures of time with MORE special friends!
At Ms. Jenny's house, Mommy got to visit with Ms. Jenny, Ms. Karyn, and Ms. Kelli. I got to see Nash, Ava, Jamey, Nora, and Jack.
Here I am with Ava, who is sharing her alligator with me. What a good buddy! Ava is going to have a new sister in December.

Good buddies! You can compare this picture to this one a year and a half ago. We've all grown, haven't we? We really missed seeing Emma Claire this time and we're sad she's moving away. Mommy got to see her and Ms. Caroline for a few minutes, but I didn't.

We also spent some time in Jamey's wading pool. I LOVED it. Perhaps Mommy and Daddy will take a hint and find one for me. Oh, but I forgot, I'm not allowed to breathe the air outside our house. Never mind.

Did I mention that I love the pool? But I love Jamey and Ava more.
Daddy was away on business during this day, so Ms. Jenny and Ava drove Mommy and me around. And, Ava gave me a super sticker book to use on the plane. I loved it! Thanks, Ava!
Later we got to see Uncle Mel and Aunt Jan. Aunt Jan always asks Mommy if I ever slow down. I think that she means that I talk a lot. No, I don't slow down much. Aunt Jan took us out to a Mexican restaurant for dinner, and I got to play with my tractor, truck, forks and the sugar. It was great to see my aunt and uncle.
While we were in town, my good buddy Maximus was in town, too, along with his family. To see a picture of our families when we were moving away, click here. I didn't get to see him, but the mommies and daddies visited and had brownies and ice cream after we were in bed. And, Mommy and Daddy got to meet Maggie for the first time. These friends were in town because Maximus' grandma has cancer. We are praying for her every day and hope you will, too. You can read about how she's doing here.
My mom thinks Maggie is awfully cute. We were staying at Sage's house at this point, and even though he wasn't home, he shared his baby toys with Maggie. He's pretty nice!

Welcome Home to Us?
While we were gone, the weather was kind of nice and the air got sort of healthy again. Now that we're back, the air is getting unhealthy again and it's getting HOT! It's going to be over 100 degrees all week. Way over 1o0. 112 degrees today. It's a good thing my swimming lessons are in the morning while it's just warm, not hot...and I hope that the air doesn't get so unhealthy that they get cancelled.
Our Big Trip: Part 2
It's truly amazing how many special people we got to see on our big trip. Here are some more!
Here's my visit with Victoria, Christine, Nathan, and Gabriel. During this time, Daddy was having adventures seeing some of his guy friends. Since most of the daddies were at work, and most of the mommies were at home, we don't have pictures of Daddy's adventures.

We got to meet Emma, Ms. Aleasia's new baby. All of Ms. Jennifer's kids love babies! They were this way with me when I was little, too.

I had so much fun with all my friends. They were so sweet to me. It's good to be old enough to play by myself!

I mentioned that Daddy had some adventures of his own. One adventure was running into an old friend that we thought had moved away to work at a camp. As it turns out, he and his family stayed nearby to work at a camp! So, we got to see Mr. Geoff, Ms. Dana, and their kids (my buddies): Eden (3,) Sterling (2,) and Liberty (6.) We were thankful for the surprise of a visit!

Climbing on the rocks. It sure would be fun to live at a camp like these buddies! I fell down three times on this visit and got some really good scrapes and bruises. Ms. Dana is an experienced mom and knew where to find a big band-aid. She's going to have a baby in September.

Later that evening, we stopped by our old neighborhood and saw our old friends, Mr. Keith, Ms. Kim, Griffin, Colleen, Shannon, and Harrison. Here I am with Griffin, one of my first babysitters (and I think I was one of her first babysittees.) I had so much fun playing with Griffin while the grownups chatted and we all at cookies. (This is the family that gave me my growth stick.) We sure miss our neighbors. Thanks for the great visits, everyone!
